Latin Name:  Cucujus clavipes Fabricius, 1781

Length:   up to 23 mm

Range: Throughout Alberta

Habitat: Beneath bark of dead poplar and ash

Time of year seen: Spring - Summer (Additional Sightings)

Diet: Mites and other small insects under bark
